Model 18 can come with either an electronic ignition or standing pilot. It has two vent pipes coming off the top and therefore the installation is a bit more complicated in that the pipes have to be parallel with each other - meaning whatever you do with one pipe, you have to do with the other. The vent runs are shorter than the model 19.

Model 19 comes with only an electronic ignition and has only ONE vent pipe coming off the top. Therefore, the installation is easier and more economical. It also has the option of a power vent kit for those longer runs.
